Adam Harrison

I started my journey at Thanet Earth in summer 2022 joining the company through the Fresca Graduate Management scheme. A new opportunity set up by the group, of which I was in the first cohort. The scheme consists of placements in varying departments within the business, getting an insight into how they operate, and the key roles within them.

So far, I have spent time in the growing element of the business via the Pepper glasshouse, Commercial, Technical and Operations. All the experience in each department has given me an in depth understanding of how the business operates.

Thanet Earth has given me several opportunities to learn new skills and put into practice what I have learnt on the graduate scheme so far and I am excited for what the future holds for my career.

Alina Voicu

I joined Thanet Earth in 2014, working on the line as a packing operative for a year, then I progressed to the transport clerk position. I became a Section Leader within 2 years and I was recently promoted to Transport Office Manager.

Thanet Earth has helped me develop my career by providing training and support. Working in the transport department is something I have been doing for 5 years. I love my job because every day is different, challenging and exciting. I work with a great team and I look forward to coming to work every day.

Jake Tallent-Wing

I joined Thanet Earth in November 2010 as a Nightshift Cleaner/Day Janitor. After 6 years I was given the opportunity to progress and in July 2016 I became a Transport Clerk in the Distribution Team.  A year later I then became a Section Leader.

After working hard in this role I was promoted to the position of Planner within the Supply Chain Team. I spent 2 years in this role then in July 2020 I was lucky enough to progress to my current role of Operational Planner. I have been with Thanet Earth for 10 years and have been lucky enough to be given the opportunity in my time here to learn various aspects of the business and progress in my career.
