On Friday 24th October, some of our HR team attended the event at the Ashford International Hotel, joining around 250 amazing people from businesses and charities across Kent.
We were absolutely thrilled to be awarded theĀ Business Wellbeing Award for ThanetĀ andĀ theĀ overall Business Wellbeing Award for Kent!Ā š

The evening was full of inspiring stories from people making a real difference to mental health across the county, and it was a true privilege to be part of it.
At Thanet Earth, employee mental health and wellbeing sit at the heart of our culture. With wellbeing built into our People Strategy, weāve created forums, campaigns, and support networks to make sure every voice is heard and valued. We offer trainedĀ Mental Health First Aiders, monthly wellbeing themes, and initiatives likeĀ SavOUR Salads, providing free meals,Ā virtual GP access, andĀ staff wellbeing rooms.
Beyond our walls, weāve donated 6,750 food boxes to the local community and organise volunteering days for staff. Through kindness, innovation, and community giving, Thanet Earth continues to grow a workplace culture where people feel supported, connected, and proud to belong. š±š
