Charity Abseil to raise funds for Porchlight Charity
On Friday 18 August 2023, our charity abseil down the Arcelor Mittal Orbit structure to raise funds for Porchlight took place at the Olympic Park in Stratford, East London.
Yasmin Bemath, Comms & Marketing Exec at Thanet Earth said, “Julia Sutton & I were crazy enough to sign up because these challenges always seem like a good idea at the time but not so much when you are about to step off the side of a building, 260 feet above the ground held up by just a harness and 3 ropes.
We were both very glad to get back to the ground and are over the moon to have raised the amazing sum of £2,436.00 between us. We just wanted to say a massive thank you everyone who sponsored us”.
