Can I visit Thanet Earth?

We’re often asked if people can come and visit Thanet Earth to find out more about what we do. Unfortunately, this isn’t possible. Our site has to be a closed environment – the greenhouses are very busy places which have to be closed to visitors for reasons of pest and disease control – with hundreds of thousands of plants in each greenhouse the potential losses are too great.

Do you give talks to groups?

Since we came to Thanet we’ve undertaken more than 100 speaking engagements to local groups. We’ve reached an estimated 5000 people face-to-face in this way.

Our resources in this area are currently focused on working to help schools use Thanet Earth as a practical example in the classroom. We regret therefore that we are not taking bookings for any talks for the foreseeable future.
