An umbrella company, Fresca is the parent to some big names in the fresh produce industry. The most longstanding name is M&W Mack Ltd, with its 135-year heritage.
Mack now supplies major supermarkets with a large range of fruit and vegetables from all around the world, as well as operating a thriving wholesale and prepared produce business. Other parts of Fresca include a specialist citrus import business (MMG Citrus), a fruit import and marketing company in Evesham (Primafruit), a packing, ripening and logistics business (ValeFresh), a potato and vegetable business in Spalding (Manor Fresh), and a grower and marketer of niche vegetables such as chicory and celeriac (Jack Buck Growers). Around 1000 people work for companies within the Group.
